Abstract Seascapes Slowly Progressing
During these past few months I’ve spent a lot of time building a garden and working around the house. But, slowly progressing behind the scenes I am working on some made up seascapes. I’ll be moving my painting table and supplies outside so I can really pour on the paint. The liquid movement of the paint, the splatters, and droplets all add the affect of painting the ocean.
Last month I was visiting family near Clearwater, Florida. I spent every single evening watching the sunset for a whole week at Indian Rocks Beach. The light green water was wonderful to observe. In my mind I can still see the white sand, the green sea-foamy water, and the pink sky with the sun getting ready to dip into the ocean. I’m looking forward to working with these new colors.
